Daniel Louis Sgrizzi is a film editor based in New York City, with a primary focus on documentary.
Projects he has worked on have played at festivals including Sundance, Tribeca, SXSW, DOCNYC, True/False, CPH:DOX, and SIFF, with several finding broadcast homes on HBO, Netflix, and VICE.
Most recently, Look Into My Eyes (dir. Lana Wilson) premiered at Sundance and was released by A24. It was named one of the five best documentaries of 2024 by the National Board of Review.
He is currently working with director Penny Lane on an upcoming feature documentary about Flaco, the escaped zoo owl, for HBO.
His short-form work includes projects for various fashion brands, including Matty Matheson’s workwear brand Rosa Rugosa, Favorite Daughter, PINKO, as well as music videos, web series, and a range of other commercial brands.
He is obsessed with tennis.
